56mm x 55mm DDA Compliant Aluminium Stair Nosing Anti Slip PVC Insert

Designed for use in most commercial and industrial applications, this Profile is suitable. The 3mm thickness in which it is available makes it capable of fixing with Vinyl, linoleum and medium carpets. The profiles have a wide variety of designs within DDA and building reg’s. Designed to meet the requirements in BS8300:2009+A1:2010; External grade Insert. Tredsafe insert made from a unique blend of P.V.C., silica quartz and polymeric plasticiser giving an homogeneous hard wearing anti-slip flooring for wet and dry conditions. The three-dimensional pyramid design offers outstanding slip resistance on wet and dry surfaces.

Install

  • Verify that the steps are dry, clean, free of objects, level and even.
  • If pre-drilled, then drill holes may be used to mark steps.
  • Drilling and plugging guidelines.
  • Put appropriate glue underneath the nosing and apply the nosing onto the stair step.
  • Secure the step with screws of the appropriate size.
  • Utilize insert pip or insert, if separate, to mask the screw head.

 

Note: This profile is pre-drilled and contains small pips to cover the holes.
