Tredsafe NHD 08 Stair Nosing 71 x 55mm Anti Slip Profile

Most commercial and industrial applications can use the NHD Profile through KTN. It comes in 5mm thickness which makes it suitable to fix with carpet or similar floor covering. The profile comes in many designs with DDA and building regulations taken into account. Meets the guidance in BS8300:2009+A1:2010. External grade Tredsafe® Insert. Tredsafe insert is made from a special blend of P.V.C., silica quartz and polymeric plasticiser giving an homogeneous hard wearing anti-slip flooring for wet and dry conditions. The three-dimensional pyramid pattern offers superior slip resistance in both wet and dry conditions.

set up

  • Make sure that the steps are dry, clean, free of dirt, level and even.
  • If holes are already drilled use those holes to mark where to drill.
  • Drill and plug the steps.
  • Put adhesive on the underside of the nosing and press nosing to the step.
  • Employ the correct dimensions of screw to lock down  the step.
  • Apply an insert (if separate) or insert the pip to cover the screw head.

Note: This profile comes with pre-drilling and small pips to cover it up.
