Heavy Duty Aluminium Stair Nosing 85x32mm Step Edge Protector

This Profile consists of a coloured PVC insert that is suitable to use in most commercial and industrial applications. The product has a thickness of 3mm which makes it easy for fixing with Vinyl, linoleum and medium carpets. The profile comes in multiple designs, complying with DDA and building regulations. It is designed to comply with the guidelines in BS8300:2009+A1:2010. External grade Insert Tredsafe insert is made from a special blend of P.V.C. silica quartz and polymeric plasticiser resulting in a homogeneous hard wearing anti-slip floor for wet and dry conditions. The three-dimensional design features a pyramid pattern that has excellent slip resistance in both wet and dry conditions.

Setup

  • Make sure the steps are dry, clean, clear of debris, level and even.
  • If holes are already drilled, they can indicate where the step is to be drilled. 
  • The process of drilling and plugging.
  • Put an appropriate glue to the bottom of the nosing and apply the nosing to the step.
  • Use suitable screws to firmly attach the step.
  • Try not to miss a spot while applying an insert plug.

Take note: This profile is pre-drilled and includes small covering pips.
