57mm x 55mm Aluminium Commercial Stair Nosing with Non Slip PVC Insert

This Profile is made up of an aluminium channel with a choice of insert material for the tread and riser so a stronger contrasting solid band of colour can be achieved.

Designed to meet the guidance in Approved Document M and BS8300:2009+A1:2010, suitable for use where no surface floorcoverings are used or resilient flooring.

When selecting the insert colours then reference should be made to the respective Light Reflective Value of the adjoining floorcovering and the stair nosing, the difference in these values should be greater than factor of 30.

Suitable for external use.Insert.Tredsafe insert is manufactured from a special blend of P.V.C., silica quartz and polymeric plasticiser giving an homogeneous hard wearing anti-slip flooring for wet and dry conditions. The three-dimensional pyramid pattern offers excellent anti-slip properties in both wet and dry conditions.

Set Up

  • The steps must be dry, clean, free of debris, level and even.
  • If holes are drilled, use the drill holes to mark the steps.
  • Plugging and Drilling Steps
  • Use appropriate glue on the back of the nosing, apply the nosing to the step.
  • Use the right size screws to secure the step.
  • Use an insert pip or insert which does not need to be separate where the screw head is placed.

Note: This profile is pre-drilled and includes small pips to cover the holes
