Aluminium 57mm x 40mm Commercial Bullnose Stair Nosing Anti Slip PVC Insert

This profile is designed to be used in most commercial and industrial applications and has a coloured PVC insert. Thanks to its 3mm gauge, vinyl, linoleum, and medium carpets or similar floor covering can be fixed with FCN carpet. Our profile comes in a variety of designs with DDA and building regulations considered. The Strain has been specially designed to conform to the guidance in BS8300:2009+A1:2010. External grade Insert. The Tredsafe insert is manufactured from a special blend of P.V.C., silica quartz and polymeric plasticiser giving an homogeneous hard wearing anti-slip flooring for wet and dry conditions. The 3D pyramid pattern is resistant to slipping, whether wet or dry.

Install

  • Make sure the steps are dry, clean, free of stains, level and even.
  • Use the drill holes to mark steps for drilling location if pre-drilled.
  • Drill the hole and plug it.
  • Appropriately apply adhesive to the step’s underside of the nosing and adjust a nosing to the step.
  • Use the correct size screws to secure the step.
  • Use insert (if separated) or insert pip for covering of screw head.

 

Note: This profile is pre-drilled and comes with tiny pips to hide the holes.
