The PVC stair-nosing which is also called bull-nosing is the ideal hard-wearing safety precaution for indoor staircases. This high-quality profile can be utilized on staircases and communication runs, and can be installed on lined-up stairs with carpeting, tiles and other finishing materials of any thickness.

When installing the stairs, maintain a room temperature – make sure that the surface of the stairs has to be clean and aligned – with the help of a knife cut the assembly to the exact width of the step – use assembly glue or double-sided tape to stick it on the stairs Don’t attach the bottom part to the step! Press it down and let the glue dry.

PVC stair nosing, or bull nosing, is an ideal hard wearing safety measure for indoor steps.

These non-slip stair edge strips, which can be stuck to the edge of stairs using a contact adhesive, also protect the corners of stairs from damage.

Installation:

The installation process should occur at ambient temperature.  The profile should be heated with warm air or water before being installed at low temperature.

Remove all the roughness of the stairs.

Using the knife/shears, the profile is cut to the step width.

Follow the instructions of the glue manufacturer regarding the application of assembly glue or use glue tape to stick ONLY on the whole surface of the upper part of the profile (do not stick its lower part to the step)

Place your weight on step and wait for the glue to set.
