Aluminium Stair Nosing 75mm x 58mm Anti Slip PVC Insert

Slip PVC Edge Trim

The NSL Profile is made up of an aluminium channel with a choice of insert material for the tread and riser so a stronger contrasting solid band of colour can be achieved. Designed to comply with the recommendations in Approved Document M and BS8300:2009+A1:2010, ideal for use where no surface floorcoverings are used or resilient flooring. When choosing the insert colour(s) then reference should be made to the respective Light Reflective Value of both the surrounding floorcovering and the stair nosing itself, both of these values should differ from each other by a factor greater than 30. External grade Insert Tredsafe insert is manufactured from a special blend of P.V.C. silica quartz and polymeric plasticiser giving an homogeneous hard-wearing anti-slip flooring for wet and dry conditions. The 3D pyramid shape allows excellent slip-resistance in both dry and wet conditions.

Setting up.

  • Check that the steps are clean, dry, free from debris, level and even.
  • If they are pre-drilled use the holes to mark where you will drill.
  • Step to plug and drill.
  • Use the proper adhesive on the bottom of the nosing then put nosing on the step.
  • Use screws of the proper size to clamp down the step. 
  • Use a separate insert or insert pip to conceal the screw head.

 

Please note: This profile will come pre-drilled with small pips to cover.
