87mm x 40mm Aluminium Stair Nosing with Anti Slip PVC Insert

  • The range not only protects the steps edges but also provides an energy efficient and easy solution to illuminate the steps.
  • If there is a local/electric power outage in the stairways that increases the risk of hazard for evacuees, the system allows the evacuee to orientate, locate stair edges and risers, and help in the safe evacuation of the premises. T.
  • No electrical connection is needed and it is easy to install and requires no special maintenance other than that which you would normally carry out on any similar product.
  • It requires nothing more than normal illumination, daylight, fluorescent or standard tungsten filaments to work.
  • Perfect to be used outdoors, the highly durable and slip resistant silicone carbide is ideal for use in schools or at homes in places where public safety is essential like ramps, porches, and steps etc.
  • The wide variety can be used on a large selection of substrates, such as concrete, timber, tiles, vinyl, steel and checker plate, with inserts available in a large range of colours that promote visibility while complimenting aesthetics.

Installation

  • Make sure the steps are dry, clean, clear of debris, level and even.
  • When holes are pre-drilled, use them to mark the drilling location.
  • Close and Prepare the Steps.
  • Use an appropriate glue on the underside of the nosing and apply the nosing to the step.
  • Attach the step using screws of the right size.
  • The screw head should be covered using the insert or insert pip.

Note:  This profile is delivered pre-drilled and comes with small pips for holes.
