Commercial Aluminium Stair Nosing Edge Trim 60x32mm PVC Insert

This Profile is intended for use in most commercial and industrial applications, adopting a coloured PVC insert.  The carpet tiles are available at 5mm gauge allowing it to be fixed with any carpet or floor covering. A variety of designs is available with DDA and building regulations compliant profiles. BS8300:2009+A1:2010 guidelines are met. External grade Insert. Tredsafe insert is manufactured from a special blend of P.V.C., silica quartz and polymeric plasticiser giving an homogeneous hard wearing anti-slip flooring for wet and dry conditions. The pyramid pattern, which is three-dimensional, provides excellent slip resistance in wet and dry conditions.

Set up.

  • The steps must be dry, clean, free of obstruction and level even.
  • If there are pre-drilled holes, the drill holes can be used to mark where steps should be drilled.
  • Drill and Plug the steps. 
  • Apply the appropriate adhesive on the underside of the nosing, then apply the nosing to the step.
  • Use screws of the right size to screw down the step.
  • Use insert pip or insert if separate to cover the screw head.

 

Note: Please be advised that the profile has been drilled and supplied with small pips to cover the holes for aesthetic purposes.
