Commercial Aluminium Stair Nosing Edge Trim 72x55mm PVC Insert

This Profile is used in most commercial and industrial applications with a coloured PVC insert. This product can be fixed with carpet or similar floor covering and has a gauge of 5mm. Different profiles are offered to suit different designs with DDA and building regulations of concern. Designed to meet requirements of BS8300:2009+A1:2010. External grade Insert. Tredsafe insert is extruded and manufactured from a specialty blend of P.V.C., silica quartz and polymeric plasticiser giving a homogeneous hard wearing anti-slip flooring for wet and dry conditions. The pyramid design features three dimensions and offers great slip resistance in both wet and dry conditions.

Installation.

  • You should check the steps are dry, clean, free of debris, level and even.
  • Drill holes may mark steps for drilling location if pre-drilled.
  • Drill and plug the steps.
  • Put glue under the nosing and put the nosing to the step using the glue.
  • Use screws of the right size to screw down the step.
  • To cover the screw head, utilize either insert or insert pip.

 

Remember, this profile comes pre-drilled and has small pips to cover the holes.
