56mm x 55mm DDA Compliant Aluminium Stair Nosing Anti Slip PVC Insert

This profile is ideal for most commercial and industrial applications. It has a gauge of 3 mm, there being a fixing to Vinyl, linoleum and medium carpet or other similar floor covering. This profile features a variety of designs which have been designed in accordance with DDA and building regulations. Designed to the guidance in BS8300:2009+A1:2010 External grade Insert. This insert is manufactured from a specially developed blend of P.V.C., silica quartz and polymeric plasticiser giving a homogeneous hard wearing anti-slip flooring for wet and dry conditions. This pattern is made of 3-D pyramids, which provide superior slip resistance when wet or dry.

Setting up.

  • Verify that the steps are dry, clean, free of debris, level and even. 
  • If the drill has been performed, mark the steps for drilling location.
  • Drilling and plugging step procedure.
  • Put adhesive on the rear of the nosing, then apply the nosing to the step.
  • Attach the steps with the appropriate size screws.
  • Use insert (if separate) or insert pip to cover screw head.

 

Note: This profile gets pre-drilled. You’ll receive small pips to cover the holes.
