Non Slip Stair Nosing 67mm x 55mm Edge Trim With Pvc Insert Aluminium DDA Compliant

The aluminium channel of the profile can have an insert material for the tread and riser that is strongly contrasting solid colour. They are designed to meet the guidance in Approved Document M and BS8300:2009+A1:2010. Ideal application where no surface floorcoverings is used or in an application where resilient flooring is used. When choosing the insert colour(s) then reference should be made to the respective Light Reflective Value (LRV) of the surrounding floorcovering and the stair nosing itself. The difference in these values should be greater than a factor of 30. External grade Insert. Tredsafe insert is made from a special blend of P.V.C., silica quartz and polymeric plasticiser that gives an homogeneous hard wearing anti-slip flooring for wet and dry conditions. The three-dimensional pyramid design ensures great anti-slip resistance in wet and dry conditions. 

Setup.

  • The stairs must be free of moisture, not slippery, and litter-free.
  • Use drilled holes to mark location for drilling if pre-drilled. 
  • to nPlug and Drill the steps.
  • Coat the bottom of the nosing with a suitable adhesive, then apply the nosing.
  • Use appropriately sized screws to secure the step down.
  • Use an insert or insert pip to cover the screw head.

 

Note: This profile is pre-drilled with small pips to conceal the holes.
