69mm x 40mm Commercial Aluminium Stair Nosing Anti Slip PVC Insert

Most commercial and industrial applications use this Profile with coloured PVC insert. The material can be used for installation with vinyl, linoleum, medium carpets or other similar floorcoverings thanks to the 3mm thickness. A number of designs are available with DDA and building regulations catered for. Designed to the requirements of BS8300:2009+A1:2010. External grade Insert Tredsafe insert is manufactured from a special blend of P.V.C., silica quartz and polymeric plasticiser giving an homogeneous hard wearing anti-slip flooring for wet and dry conditions. The pyramid shape is three dimensional and provides excellent slip resistance in wet or dry performance.

set up

  • Make sure the steps are dry, clean, clear of debris, level and even.
  • Pre-drilled holes use these holes to mark the location of drilling steps.
  • Steps for drilling and plugging
  • Put a suitable adhesive on the underside of the nosing and apply nosing onto the step.
  • Fix the step in position using the correct screws.
  • Use either a separate insert or an insert pip to cover the screw.

 

Note: The small holes on this profile are covered with small pips which come pre-drilled.
