57mm x 32mm Aluminium Stair Nosing Anti Slip Step Edge Trim

  • Along with functioning as step edge protection the range offers an easy, energy efficient solution to illuminate steps.
  • In the event of a power failure in the local basement or emergency power on staircases which would increase hazard risk for evacuees, the system will allow the evacuee to orient, locate stair edge and risers, and assist for safe evacuation from premises. T.
  • The system does not need any electrical connection. It is easy to install and requires no special maintenance apart from that which you would normally carry out on any similar product. 
  • Light levels any greater than normal ambient illumination will damage the device’s performance.
  • The silicone carbide is a material which is very durable and has effective slip resistance. It is suitable for external use. Therefore, it is ideal for use in both commercial and domestic applications where public safety is very important.
  • Wide range can be used on a wide range of substrates; can be used on concrete, timber, tiles, vinyl and steel; wide range of colours for bends promoting visibility while complimenting aesthetic.

Set-up.

  • Make sure that the steps are dry, clean, clear of material, level and even.
  • If they are pre-drilled, use their holes to mark steps for drilling.
  • Drilling and inserting the plugs
  • Use the right glue on the inside of the nosing and apply the nosing to the step.
  • Use the correct size screws to secure the step.
  • Apply insert – if separate – or insert pip to cover the screw head.

 

Note: Keep in mind that pre-drilled holes already exist in this profile with small pips on them.
