Tredsafe Stair Nosing 85mm x 32mm Aluminium Anti Slip PVC Insert

  • The Aluminator range not only provides step edge protection but also offers an effective and energy-saving step lighting solution. 
  • In the event of a local/electric power failure on stairways, where hazard risk for evacuees is heightened, the service will allow the evacuee to be orientated, locate stair edges/risers and assist with safe evacuation of the premises.
  • The system operates independently of electricity, is straightforward to install, and does not require special maintenance beyond what you would normally do on a similar product.
  • The operation of the device requires only ordinary illumination of daylight, fluorescent and standard tungsten filaments.
  • The silicone carbide, which is incredibly hard-wearing and slip-resistant, is suitable for external use and can be used commercially and domestically when public safety is paramount.
  • The various colours in the range can be used on concrete, timber, tiles, vinyl, steel and checker plate substrates and inserts of various colours are available to maximise visibility and allow the use to complement the visual aesthetics. 

Setup

  • Make certain that steps are dry, clean, clear of debris and even.
  • Drill holes to chalk out steps for drilling location if pre-drilled.
  • Step for Drill and Plug.
  • Put the nosing on the step after applying a suitable adhesive to the underside of it.
  • Tighten the step with appropriately sized screws.
  • If separate, apply insert or insert a pip to cover the screw head.

Note: This profile has holes already drilled and has small pips to cover holes.
